How to install IPTV on Firestick

Works on Fire TV Stick (all generations), Fire TV Stick 4K / 4K Max, Fire TV Cube and Fire TV smart TVs.

Before you start

  • A Firestick or Fire TV connected to the internet
  • Your IPTV Primeus login — an activation code (App Plan) or server URL + password (Xtream Plan). Get a free trial if you don't have one
  • Your Fire TV remote

Step 1 — Install the Downloader app

  1. From the Fire TV home screen, open Find → Search.
  2. Type Downloader and select the orange Downloader app (publisher: AFTVnews).
  3. Select Get / Download and wait for it to install.

Tip: Check the Amazon Appstore for your preferred IPTV player first. If it is listed there, install it directly and skip to Step 4.

Step 2 — Allow apps from unknown sources

  1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV.
  2. If you don't see Developer Options, open About, highlight your device name and press the select button 7 times until you see "You are now a developer".
  3. Go back and open Developer Options → Install unknown apps.
  4. Find Downloader and switch it ON.

Step 3 — Install your IPTV player

  1. Open Downloader and allow any permission request.
  2. In the URL box, enter the download link from your email or our support team — our app for App Plan, or your player for Xtream Plan — then select Go.
  3. When the download finishes, select Install, then Done.
  4. Delete the installer file when Downloader asks, to free up storage.

Why a link from us? We only share links to official player releases, so you never install a modified app from an unknown website.

Step 4 — Activate and log in

App Plan: open our app and enter the activation code from your email. Done.

Xtream Plan:

  1. Open the player and choose Login with Xtream Codes API (or Add playlist → Xtream Codes).
  2. Enter the server URL and password exactly as sent to you. If the player asks for a username, you can enter any name.
  3. Select Add user / Next and wait while live TV, movies, series and the TV guide load.

That's it — you're ready to watch. Hold the Home button and select Apps to move the player to your home screen for quick access.

Tips for smooth streaming

  • Use an Ethernet adapter or 5 GHz Wi-Fi — it makes the biggest difference for 4K.
  • Restart your Firestick every few weeks (Settings → My Fire TV → Restart).
  • Clear the player's cache if it gets slow: Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications.

Troubleshooting

"Invalid login" or "Authorization failed"

Re-enter your details and check for extra spaces. The server URL must include http:// and the port number if one was provided. App Plan users: make sure the code is entered in our app, not a third-party player.

Channels keep buffering

Restart your router and Firestick, switch to a wired or 5 GHz connection, then contact us — we can move you to another server.

The TV guide (EPG) is empty

Open the player settings and refresh or reload the EPG. It can take a few minutes the first time.

Downloader says "unknown sources" is blocked

Repeat Step 2 and make sure Install unknown apps is ON for Downloader specifically.
