Before you start

  • An iPhone, iPad or Apple TV (4th generation or newer) with an Apple ID
  • An Xtream Plan login (server URL + password) — get a free trial if you don't have one

Step 1 — Install a player

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV.
  2. Search for an Xtream-compatible player, such as Smarters Player or Xtream Player. Availability changes — ask us if you'd like a recommendation.
  3. Install and open the app.

Note: Players are made by independent developers. Some are free with ads; others charge a one-time or in-app fee to the developer.

Step 2 — Add your playlist

  1. In the player, look for Add playlist, Xtream Codes or Remote playlists.
  2. Choose Xtream Codes and enter your server URL and password. If it asks for a username, any name works.
  3. Save and open the playlist. Channels, movies and series will load.

Option — AirPlay from iPhone to TV

No Apple TV app? Start playback on your iPhone or iPad, tap the AirPlay icon and choose your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible smart TV.

Tips for smooth streaming

  • On Apple TV, use Ethernet for 4K content.
  • Typing long URLs on Apple TV is slow — many players let you enter details from your iPhone instead.

Troubleshooting

The player shows "Invalid credentials"

Check for spaces and that the server URL includes http:// and the port. Copy-paste the details from our message on your phone.

Some channels won't play on iPhone

Switch the player's stream format setting (for example from TS to HLS/M3U8) if it has one, or contact us.
